"The night was immensely silent of cosmic activities. Direct perception of such beauty may only be in the absence of consciousnesses." ~ Rexsy

"In the profound majestic beauty of the Cosmos, the Universal Cosmic Consciousness omnipresently, omnisciently, and omnipotently penetrates the vast silent space of the Divine Sacred Emptiness!"
~ Rexsy
"Dispassion is the best of mental states. . . ."
~ Buddha
"Mountains and rivers at this very moment are the actualization of the world of the ancient Buddhas. Each, abiding in its phenomenal expression, realizes completeness."
~ Dogen
"Like a beautiful flower that is colorful but has no fragrance, even well spoken words bear no fruit in one who does not put them into practice."
~ Buddha
"This mind, through endless kalpas without beginning, has never varied. It has never lived or died, appeared or disappeared, increased or decreased. It's not pure or impure, good or evil, past or future. It's not true or false. It's not male or female. It doesn't appear as a monk or a layman, an elder or a novice, a sage or a fool, a buddha or a mortal. It strives for no realization and suffers no karma. It has no strength or form. It's like space. You can't possess it and you can't lose it. Its movements can't be blocked by mountains, rivers, or rock walls. . . . No karma can restrain this real body. But this mind is subtle and hard to see. It's not the same as the sensual mind. Everyone wants to see this mind, and those who move their hands and feet by its light are as many as the grains of sand along the Ganges, but when you ask them, they can't explain it. It's theirs to use. Why don't they see it? . . . Only the wise know this mind, this mind called dharma-nature, this mind called liberation. Neither life nor death can restrain this mind. Nothing can. It's also called the Unstoppable Tathagata, the Incomprehensible, the Sacred Self, the Immortal, the Great Sage. Its names vary but not its essence."
~ Bodhidharma
"Let a man avoid evil deeds as a man who loves life avoids poison."
~ Buddha
"That you carry yourself forward and experience the myriad things is delusion. That the myriad things come forward and experience themselves is awakening."
~ Dogen
"Don't hate life and death or love life and death. Keep your every thought free of delusion, and in life you'll witness the beginning of nirvana, and in death you'll experience the assurance of no rebirth."
~ Bodhidharma
"But when one masters this wretched desire, which is so hard to overcome, then one's sorrows just drop off, like a drop of water off a lotus."
~ Buddha
"Studying the Buddha way is studying oneself.
Studying oneself is forgetting oneself.
Forgetting oneself is being enlightened by all things.
Being enlightened by all things is to shed the body-mind of oneself, and those of others.
No trace of enlightenment remains, and this traceless enlightenment
continues endlessly."
~ Dogen
"A buddha is someone who finds freedom in good fortune and bad. Such is his power that karma can't hold him. No matter what kind of karma, a buddha transforms it. Heaven and hell are nothing to him. But the awareness of a mortal is dim compared to that of a buddha, who penetrates everything, inside and out."
~ Bodhidharma
"Suffering does not befall him who is without attachment to names and forms."
~ Buddha
"There are those who, attracted by grass, flowers, mountains, and waters, flow into the Buddha Way."
~ Dogen
"When mortals are alive, they worry about death. When they're full, they worry about hunger. Theirs is the Great Uncertainty. But sages don't consider the past. And they don't worry about the future. Nor do they cling to the present. And from moment to moment they follow the Way."
~ Bodhidharma
"In a mind clear as still water,
even the waves, breaking,
are reflecting its light."
~ Dogen
"The good renounce everything. The pure don't babble about sensual desires. Whether touched by pleasure or pain, the wise show no change of temper."
~ Buddha
"Enlightenment is like the moon reflected on the water. The moon does not get wet, nor is the water broken. Although its light is wide and great, the moon is reflected even in a puddle an inch wide. The whole moon and the entire sky are reflected in dewdrops on the grass, or even in one drop of water. Enlightenment does not divide you, just as the moon does not break the water. You cannot hinder enlightenment, just as a drop of water does not hinder the moon in the sky. The depth of the drop is the height of the moon. Each reflection, however long or short its duration, manifests the vastness of the dewdrop, and realizes the limitlessness of the moonlight in the sky."
~ Dogen
"Our true buddha-nature has no shape. And the dust of affliction has no form. How can people use ordinary water to wash an intangible body? It won't work. . . . To clean such a body you have to behold it. Once impurities and filth arise from desire, they multiply until they cover you inside and out. But if you try to wash this body of yours, you'll have to scrub until it's nearly gone before it's clean."
~ Bodhidharma
"Those... who find delight in freedom from attachment in the renunciation of clinging, free from the inflow of thoughts, they are like shining lights, having reached final liberation in the world."
~ Buddha
"Through one word, or seven words, or three times five, even if you investigate thoroughly myriad forms, nothing can be depended upon. Night advances, the moon glows and falls into the ocean. The black dragon jewel you have been searching for, is everywhere."
~ Dogen
"All know the way, but few actually walk it."
~ Bodhidharma
"When a man venerates those worthy of veneration, be they Buddhas or their disciples, who have transcended all obstacles and passed beyond sorrow and tears - venerating such as these, whose passions are extinguished and for whom there is no further source for fear, no one can calculate how great his merit is."
~ Buddha
"Set aside all involvements and let the myriad things rest. Zazen is not thinking of good, not thinking of bad. It is not conscious endeavour. It is not introspection. Do not desire to become a buddha; let sitting or lying down drop away. Be moderate in eating and drinking. Be mindful of the passing of time, and engage yourself in zazen as though you are saving your head from fire."
~ Dogen
"The Way is basically perfect. It doesn’t require perfecting. The Way has no form or sound. It’s subtle and hard to perceive. It’s like when you drink water: you know how hot or cold it is, but you can’t tell others."
~ Bodhidharma
"Enlightenment is intimacy with all things."
~ Dogen
"One may desire a spurious respect and precedence among one's fellow monks, and the veneration of outsiders. "Both monks and laity should think it was my doing. They should accept my authority in all matters great or small." This is a fool's way of thinking. His self-seeking and conceit just increase. One way leads to acquisition, the other leads to nirvana. Realizing this a monk, as a disciple of the Buddha, should take no pleasure in the respect of others, but should devote himself to solitude."
~ Buddha

"Immeasurable branches of phenomena are interconnected through the root of Cosmic Emptiness, which is the ultimate communication media, and kingdom of all existences. The mind, which has the ability to connect to this communication channel through Emptiness Meditation, may access infinite vital information of countless fruits of wisdom, which is the key to Enlightenment!" ~ Rexsy
"The Sunlight reflected across the sea of beauty, where deep silent spirits of existence nourished billions of consciousnesses inhabiting in the cosmic field of the immense Universe. One may concentrate and observe any existing matter, and eventually, become oneness with the investigated phenomenon, which reveals truth in the light of Sacred Emptiness. This is the process of Concentration, Observation towards Meditation." ~ Rexsy
"Across the Universes, ecstatic golden lights penetrated and reflected great profound wisdom to infinite atoms of existence. Sparkling diamond spirits radiated through limitless space, bringing absolute joys to all cosmic consciousnesses. Each Universe may come into existence, in its own dimension, from a subtle infinitesimal point of Emptiness. Universal Sacred Emptiness is the Mother of all existences, which commands majestic balance between suffering, peace, and love!" ~ Rexsy
"Power of Intelligence lies in the Universe, myriad things, and peoples...decentralised in all beings and existences. In parallel to holding vital energy, intelligence, and information
in an organized centralized brain, location, one may allocate these in myriad cosmic phenomena! As retrieval of such intelligent information is necessary, it would be available in limitless abundance omnipresently throughout the Universe..." ~ Rexsy
"The evening darkness penetrated the Earth of mysterious silence and beauty, where the infinitesimal wisdom brilliantly radiates infinite space of myriad phenomena under laws of the Universe. 'One is the World, and the World is One'. Every existence, matter, phenomenon, possesses a subtle nature, which is dependent, linking to, and represents the whole Universe. This fact may be comprehended through the enlightening power of meditation with the subtle mind of Ultimate Emptiness." ~ Rexsy
"Mystic powers are like candle lights in the Sun, which represents Meditative Enlightenment, the Superconsciousness. With the Sun, there’s no need for candle lights, just light. The Meditative Mind, Universal Consciousness, like the Sun versus candle lights, overpowers all mystical powers, but not vice versa."
~ Rexsy
"The morning light penetrated deep into One's consciousness, as millions of starlight wisdom particles launched their ways into infinite space of reflections! Great feelings of love and compassion immersed omnipresently over myriad existences, and the Universal Mind achieved unfathomable silence in Sacred Emptiness!" ~ Rexsy
"The great Sun lights, dancing through the dark trees, created mesmerizing scenes of the heavens. Given several events/phenomena to choose from and live with, one would naturally select the best available, provided that seeing and understanding clearly the best resolution. Similarly, in the course of living, given multi-dimensional consciousnesses for acquisition, with understanding, one would naturally, and choicelessly select the best one: The Universal Consciousness. This is the ultimate endeavor of all achievements, and it is choiceless!" ~ Rexsy
